Job Description

Were presenting an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager! This is a unique opportunity to lead the HR function at NBF and make a meaningful impact on culture talent and strategy. As the senior HR leader youll work closely with executive leadership guide the HR team and shape a peoplefirst employee experience. With a blend of strategic influence and handson involvement this role offers both challenge and opportunity in equal measure.

This role is based in Milwaukee WI with an inoffice schedule of Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday as business needs allow.

Heres a General Overview of What Youll be Doing:


Leadership & Culture

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to NBFs President and executive team on all people matters
  • Lead an HR team focused on payroll benefits compliance recruiting and other administrative duties
  • Champion and model NBFs strong peoplefirst culture

Employee & Labor Relations

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues conflict resolution and performance conversations
  • Investigate concerns ensure due process and manage documentation appropriately
  • Maintain HR policies and NBFs Employee Guidebook; drive policy awareness and consistency

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Administer and analyze compensation programs including benchmarking salary structure and merit increases
  • Collaborate with brokers and vendors to manage NBFs health welfare and retirement plans

Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Lead highlevel and executive search efforts in collaboration with external partners
  • Oversee daytoday recruiting strategy and operations through the Sr. TA Specialist
  • Monitor timetofill sourcing channels and DEI efforts in hiring

Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure full compliance with federal state and local employment laws and all government contractor reporting requirements including AAP EEO1 VETS4212
  • Maintain accurate records and lead internal audits and reporting processes

Performance Management & Development

  • Facilitate the annual performance review goal setting and talent review processes
  • Coach managers and leaders on feedback and development planning
  • Identify training needs and development opportunities

HR Strategy & Operations

  • Monitor HR metrics and provide reporting to leadership
  • Utilize Workday as HRIS; ensure data integrity and drive continuous improvement of HR operations
  • Act as liaison to TAKKTs HR leadership for alignment with shared service functions and broader people initiatives
  • Includes responsibility for facility operations vendor management office services town halls and events

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience with some management / leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of employment law benefits administration (including selfinsured plans) and government contractor compliance
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal coaching and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • HR certification (SHRMCP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) preferred
