Senior DevOps Engineer
Datacentre Infrastructures
On behalf of a wellknown and leading Swiss private bank in Geneva we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer Datacentre Infrastructures
A great opportunity to join a talented and challenging team where they design develop and operate platforms that balance security compliance performance and resilience on the public and private cloud.
Your role
- Design build operate and continuously improve infrastructure platforms including centralised storage and SAN.
- Keep infrastructure secure up to date and online.
- Develop internal tooling and processes that improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Promote infrastructure software development practices and DevOps.
- Teach mentor grow and advise other domain experts and teams in the organisation.
- Participate in oncall duties in rotation with other team members.
Your profile
- Engineering or university degree.
- Significant knowledge of architecture topics such as integration security and storage technologies (Kubernetes Ceph Cinder).
- Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices programming and scripting languages (Python Java Go bash PowerShell).
- Experience with infrastructure management tools (monitoring and observability logging configuration management).
- Deeply curious ready to help always learning new skills and technologies.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focuses on proactive strategies to prevent issues before they occur.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
