Job Description
DeBraKuempel Inc. is a leading provider of mechanical electrical and plumbing services to Cincinnati Dayton Columbus Evansville Lexington Louisville Eastern Kentucky and the surrounding areas. We deliver our services through the full lifecycle including design build and new construction major repairs and replacements and ongoing preventive services. DeBraKuempel is wholly owned by EMCOR Group Inc. a national provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services including planning consulting and operations and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To best meet the needs of our Organization and Customers the ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Learn and understand all functions of A/R Cash.
- Post ACH Credit Cards Lockbox and Mail Deposits received from customers into our Accounting Software.
- Ensure that the monies posted to accounts receivable equal the bank deposit.
- Accurately post weekly adjustments to accounts receivable.
- Research payments while working with other departments.
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. - Minimum 24 years of recent administrative support experience Accounts Receivable and Cash Posting experience is a plus but not required.
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage a fastpaced environment in an organized efficient manner.
- Knowledge/experience within a Mechanical Contracting Firm is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels of the Organization with a positive engaging proactive and teambased style.
- Working knowledge of Local State and Federal regulations and guidelines.
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently sometimes with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a valid Drivers License.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Excellent Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Teams Outlook Word OneNote and Excel)
- Experience with Accounting Software is a plus but not required.
