You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailProvides support on an advanced targeting application for the United States Strategic Command and will provide the dynamic opportunity to design develop modify integrate and troubleshoot interfaces with associate contractor software.
Requirements:
Utilize problem solving skills to troubleshoot production issues related to software applications systems integration compatibility and multiple platforms. Apply critical thinking skills to assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages and application integration and testing tools.
As part of a Scrum team participate in requirements gathering sprint planning design code and unit test automated unit testing peer reviews and the system test process both for new development and remediation of defects found in existing applications.
Provide Tier III support onsite at USSTRATCOM on relatively short notice when requested. Tier III support is commonly defined as the highest level of support in a threetiered technical support model responsible for analyzing or troubleshooting the most difficult or advanced software problems. The support provided would be to assist the current onsite staff during deployment of software releases and their configuration within the USSTRATOM operating environments (NIF Dev Test PreProd and Prod); assisting with integration/interfaces with other ISPAN/MPAS subsystems and databases; and provide assistance as needed during government testing activities

Mandatory Requirements
Bachelors degree in related technical discipline and 812 years experience in software engineering or a Masters degree with 610 years software and related systems engineering experience.
Knowledge and experience to perform complex and challenging system and specialty engineering tasks with no supervision and have demonstrated experience in performing a variety of complicated tasks.
Experience with Java C and/or Ada.
Proficiency with basic web technologies including HTML CSS XML SOAP WSDL REST JSON and JavaScript.
Proficiency with web user interface including web application technologies.
Experience with a version control system (e.g. Git).
Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g. Jira).
Experience with continuous integration environments (Jenkins).
Knowledge of software design patterns.
Knowledge of serviceoriented architectures.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of distributed computing architectures.
Familiarity with the following Server Infrastructure Products:
VMware
WebLogic Server
Operating Environments:
Linux Windows
Experience with one or more of the following Development Tools:
Oracle DBMS
Oracle WebLogic Server
SQLPlus
Eclipse
