What Youll Be Doing
- Drive merchant acquisition in South Africa owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Work closely with a senior commercial lead to scale up market share while improving the merchant onboarding journey.
- Pitch a cuttingedge payments platform to a variety of merchants from enterprise players to emerging market brands.
- Support with merchant success and account handover ensuring a seamless transition from sale to activation.
- Collaborate with leadership and help shape sales strategy with real autonomy to test and iterate what works.
Requirements
Were Looking For Someone Who:
- Brings 5 years experience in the FinTech or payments ecosystem.
- Has a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Is selfstarterminded you take ownership solve problems and dont need micromanaging.
- Communicates clearly and confidently both in meetings and via email or pitch.
- Thrives in a lean environment where youre trusted to make decisions and move fast.
- Is based in or near Cape Town (Century City) and open to working hybrid with occasional inoffice presence.
