You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailExciting opportunities are available for permanent fulltime positions as Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists (CDI). We are currently recruiting for these roles across several Epworth Hospitals specifically for Epworth Richmond Freemasons (East Melbourne) Geelong and Eastern (Box Hill) sites.
Each CDI will work in close collaboration with clinicians nurses theatre staff and the Health Information Services (HIS) Coding team to ensure clinical documentation is accurate complete and reflects the complexity of each patient. The CDIs will be primarily involved in the review of clinical documentation of current inpatients and facilitating education sessions for clinicians and nursing staff on clinical documentation.
The CDIs will report to the Hospital Finance Manager at each site while working in close alignment with the HIS team.

You are selfdriven ambitious and like to take initiative. You have experience working in an acute care hospital setting and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to help drive improvement in clinical documentation. The ability to engage with clinicians and other key stakeholders is the critical success factor in this role.
