Job Description

Surety Bond Services Specialist

North York

The Surety Bond Services Specialist will join an experienced surety team supporting a highquality construction surety portfolio. Ideal candidates are highly organized detailoriented and dedicated to client service and teamwork.

Our client is a leading specialty commercial brokerage in Canadian construction insurance and surety bonding. They offer a differentiated experience to both clients and staff through its specialized business model and culture of teamwork valueadd service and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

* Prepare surety bonds accurately using our bond management system.

* Respond promptly to client requests and inquiries.

* Communicate with underwriters and clients to confirm request details obtain approvals and determine premiums.

* Interpret construction tender packages to verify request details.

* Handle invoicing and record keeping in EPIC.

* Collaborate with the Bond Team to improve processes.

* Contribute positively to our team culture.

Requirements:

* Proficiency with MS Office and IT aptitude.

* 1 year of Surety experience is preferred.

* 1 year of insurance industry experience (insurer or broker) is preferred.

* RIBO and ACSB designations are assets (support provided if desired).

* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Sense of ownership and attention to detail.

* Ability to work in a team and independently.

* Willingness to learn grow and collaborate.
