What were looking for:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Logistics and Operations Intern to join our team. This internship offers handson experience in supply chain logistics with a special focus on managing lastmile deliveries some human resource responsibilities customer experience and other operational related cross department duties.
Key responsibilities that you will learn how to master implement and execute:
- Learn how to collaborate with logistics partners and couriers to prioritize and track deliveries.
- Monitor delivery progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Learn how to assist in the efficient processing of orders from order entry to fulfillment.
- Expedite orders as needed to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Learn how to generate reports and provide insights to enhance logistics efficiency.
- Assist in managing and expediting lastmile orders to ensure ontime delivery.
- Learn to communicate with customers regarding order status tracking information and any delivery delays.
- Assist in analyzing logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvement cost reduction and delivery optimization.
Requirements:
- A sincere interest and curiosity on how delivery processes operate (amazon door dash etc.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced customerfocused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Enthusiasm for problemsolving and adaptability in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous coursework or experience in supply chain and logistics is a plus.
