Medical Interpreter/Translator
Full Time 40 hours per week)
MondayFriday
(No weekends or holidays)

The Medical Interpreter/Translator provides interpretation and translation both written and verbal of the English/Spanish language to facilitate delivery of health care services to Spanish speaking patients. Your role is vital in bridging the gap for our Spanish speaking patients by teaming up with a provider to assist in any interpretation needs. Other duties include assisting with billing scheduling patient follow ups updating patient charts and performing other office duties as assigned.
This position is in an office clinical setting. Prior medical translating experience is preferred.
Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required. Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience/ability to use telephones and computers. Ability to work well as a team member. Ability to work well and relate to client population. Basic typing/filing. Basic familiarity with various types of office equipment including copiers fax machines shredders etc.
Must be fluent in Spanish.
