Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages/Oversees the building and all warehouse employees (Mangers Supervisors Employee Drivers).
- Manages/Oversees daily operations of all warehouse duties.
- Set expectations motivate organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Recruited hire new employees as needed.
- Work with other functional business units vendors staff groups and customers.
- Design warehouse layout for product flow and product handling/processing
- Develops and assures all work procedures and policy are being followed by all employees
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Develops warehouse operation improvements to increase thru put and accuracy within the warehouse.
- Works with buyers and sales team on product movement with in the warehouse
- Overseas physical inventory and researches all variances
- Conducts random audits
- Manage and approve all employees time off
- Handles any HR issues working with HR department.
Job Specific Competencies:
- At least 1 year of warehouse management experience preferably in a distribution/logistics/warehouse environment
- Experience in warehousing inventory and logistics management
- Excellent multitasking communication and organizational skills
- Fluent with desktop computers and Microsoft Office products
