Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst position is critical to supporting the Venture Boat Group (VBG) North American finance and senior leadership teams helping to manage a $100M revenue business for our Bayliner and Heyday product lines across multiple international production facilities. The position will assist in financial oversight of the two brands including both commercial and operations activity support forecasts and budgets and monthly / quarterly close. This will report to the Manager FP&A and be a key thought partner of various functional management teams. This person would bring financial acumen thought partnership and be able to grow into future leadership roles.

Essential Functions:
Perform monthly closing activities ensuring accuracy of month end results and compliance with all internal and external deadlines.
Process intercompany transactions and confirm related balances for domestic and global business partners. Research and resolve related variances.
Complete variance analysis and provide management with ad hoc reports as requested.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries complete assigned reconciliations of general ledger accounts and prepare financial reports.
Utilize U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls.
Prepare various fiscal reports for the division including income statement balance sheet and cash flow statements.
Participate in monthly and quarterly financial close processes including the sales flash journal entries reconciliations and judgmental reserve preparation.
Work with brand leadership on key initiatives and performance tracking. Partner with commercial operations and finance teams.
Maintain reporting such as retail and pipeline in support of monthly internal VBG Brunswick Boat Group (BBG) and Brunswick Corporate reviews.
Prepare adhoc analysis for the VBG organization.
Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets. Participate in audits.
Effectively establishes priorities and manages multiple responsibilities such as business team and finance deliverables and adhering to corporate timelines.
Problemsolving ability to analyze results identify opportunities and create solutions.
Actively test business processes procedures and controls and provide recommendations to make improvements.
Assist the Brunswick Boat Group Finance Shared Services team on select reporting and tasks.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
One to three years of finance experience preferably in a manufacturing or brand environment.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Cost Accounting.
Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data using Excel.
Proficient with MS Office specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to read analyze and interpret financial reports.
Strong communications and ability to concisely build a narrative for management public groups peers and staff.
Must be a willing partner to the senior leadership team and be able to represent the finance function while supporting the overall priorities of the business.
Must demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional integrity character and promote ethical business behavior throughout the organization.
Flexible and selfstarter; able to multitask while also being detail oriented and manage tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle EPM and Business Objects ERP software platforms.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $57700 to $92600 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including jobrelated knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location. In addition to base pay this position is eligible for a shortterm incentive program.
At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
