SEND Teacher Newcastle upon Tyne
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: 150 207 per day (depending on experience)
Fulltime Monday to Friday Termtime only
Are you a dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs Were currently seeking a compassionate and skilledSEND Teacherto join a specialist provision in Newcastle that supports children and young people with a range of needs including autism ADHD and social emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

The Role:
As an SEND Teacher you will:
- Deliver tailored lessons that meet a range of learning needs
- Support students on EHCPs in both academic and emotional development
- Adapt resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities
- Work closely with teaching assistants therapists and the wider SEND team
- Foster a positive inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and supported
What Were Looking For:
- QTS or QTLS (Essential)
- Experience working with SEND pupils either in a mainstream or specialist setting
- Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for SEND
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A calm nurturing and patient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
