About the Role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (Backend) with domain knowledge in healthcare. Youll get to work with other engineers to build services that allow our customers to send and receive data to other systems across the healthcare IT ecosystem.
A Day in the Life
- Building efficient and reusable applications and abstractions
- Identify and communicate best practices
- Participate in the project life cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build integration QA and delivery
- Analyze and improve the performance scalability stability and security of our platform
- Improve engineering standards tooling and processes
What You Need
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3 years of experience with a startup mentality and willingness to learn
- Understanding of and commitment to the role of AI in speeding the development process
- Expertise in Python and RESTful APIs
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Containerisation.
- Experience in RDMBS & NoSQL Databases such as Postgres MongoDB etc.
- Experience in Solution Architecture.
- Experience in Kafka RabbitMQ or any other queuing services is good to have.
- Familiarity with the HL7 FHIR standard or other healthcare IT interoperability formats such as CCDA XDS.b/XCA or Direct
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
