Vacancy: Sister/Team Leader InPatient Unit

Salary Range: 36879to 43983per annum (prorata for parttime staff) Hours: 37.5 24 hour internal rotation

We are recruiting to the post of Ward Sister/Team leader. We are looking for someone who is able to support and lead a team of staff to provide outstanding evidenced based care.

Working with senior staff you will role model the St Gemmas values and behaviour framework.

As a Sister/Team Leader you will be expected to:

  • Take responsibility as Nurse in Charge on shift.
  • Positive role model in a supervisory and supportive role.
  • Manage and develop a team of staff
  • Project development
  • Demonstrate management and leadership skills

St Gemmas Hospice is an independent Leedsbased charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK providing expert care and support for local people with lifelimiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients families and carers in the Hospices InPatient Unit through the St Gemmas community team and at our OutPatients.

We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown Retail Hub in Bramley a large chain of charity shops and out in the community.
