Job Title: Social Worker Childrens Safeguarding Team Cardiff
Location: Cardiff
Pay Rate: 38.43/per hour
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced children social worker to join their esteemed clients longterm Childrens Safeguarding team. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a passion for working with children and families as well as expertise in identifying and managing child protection concerns and addressing ongoing issues.
Role Overview: This challenging and rewarding role involves working with complex cases including:
- Highend Children in Need (CIN) and child protection cases.
- Managing cases that may progress to care proceedings requiring a solid understanding of court work and the statutory requirements for children who are looked after.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing measurable timely interventions in Child Protection/CIN plans.
- Identifying when further intervention is required to protect children within your caseload and taking appropriate action.
- Championing practice improvement actively participating in process procedure policy and strategy development.
- Managing and assessing risk leveraging technical authority and deep expertise in social care practice.
- Supporting and mentoring others while maintaining credibility and handson experience in complex cases.
Who Were Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be registered with Social Work Wales.
- Possess significant experience in progressing Child Protection and CIN plans.
- Demonstrate expertise in assessing and managing risk in complex cases.
- Be organized resilient and adept at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on the best outcomes for children.
- Ideally be a driver with access to a car and eligible to reside and work in the UK.
