Job Description

Homeowner Association Coordinator

Kirkland WA

Our client a leading national residential developer and home builder offers strong leadership excellent benefits and a culture that values work/life balance. Guided by customerfirst principles they tailor their approach to meet home buyers needs. They are seeking an HOA Coordinator to support the Puget Sound and Central Washington regions.

As the HOA Coordinator you will oversee the setup maintenance and management of each local Homeowners Association.

HOA Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Land Department team to gather information for governing documents.
  • Provide details to attorneys and review drafts for accuracy.
  • Approve execute and deliver final documents.
  • Select and contract thirdparty management companies.
  • Ensure smooth transition with the management company.
  • Prepare the HOA budget serve on the boards and attend meetings; provide updates and reports.
  • Address developerrelated issues with the HOA Manager.
  • Review financials and resolve issues with the Controller.
  • Review and approve architectural requests.
  • Enforce bond deposit policy and assign amounts.
  • Inspect and document property conditions before and after homeowner improvements.
  • Coordinate common area transition walks.
  • Prepare and execute deeds transfer plans and documents to HOA.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations.

HOA Coordinator Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or at least 2 years of related experience in residential property management or community/building management and customer service.
  • Must have a vehicle a valid drivers license and be willing to travel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
