Job Description

EquipmentShare is Hiring a Tool Calibration Sales Specialist

EquipmentShare is immediately hiring a Tool Calibration Sales Specialist for our rental facility in Port Arthur TX. You will be responsible for finding opportunities and generating leads to provide calibration services on customer and company owned Industrial Tools.

On Target Earnings: $75000 This position offers base pay commission on all sales)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate leads to expand Industrial customer base to sell and provide tooling calibration services on Industrial Tools such as torque wrenches transducers and other specialized machinery and equipment
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment measuring instruments and systems according to set standards and specifications

  • Generate leads to expand Industrial customer base to sell and provide tooling calibration services on Industrial Tools such as torque wrenches transducers and other specialized machinery and equipment
  • Test and identify faults in equipment and systems and troubleshoot issues

  • Create calibration procedures and reports documenting calibration findings

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems

  • Research and recommend new calibration methods and procedures

  • Manage inventory of calibration equipment supplies and spares

  • Collaborate with engineers technicians and other personnel to ensure calibration procedures meet quality safety and regulatory standards

  • Prepares cost estimates for repairs and makes recommendations.

  • Performs emergency repairs as required.

  • Perform routine calibrations on rental equipment including lifting equipment power tools measuring devices and other specialized tools as per manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

  • Utilize calibration equipment like test weights pressure gauges voltage meters and specialized calibration software to verify accuracy.

  • Make necessary adjustments to equipment to achieve proper calibration within tolerance level

  • May be required to work overtime and/or different shifts when circumstances warrant as determined by the supervisor.

  • Performs other jobrelated tasks as assigned by supervisor

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Sales Experience/Aptitude:
    • Industrial knowledge with experience in B2B sales is preferred but not required. If youre a born salesperson well train you on what you need to know and how to win more business
  • Mechanical Aptitude:

    • Strong understanding of measurement principles basic mechanics and electrical systems relevant to construction and industrial equipment.

  • Calibration Expertise:

    • Experience with various calibration techniques and equipment including knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

  • Troubleshooting Skills:

    • Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify root causes of calibration issues.

  • Basic Electrical Knowledge:

    • Understanding of basic electrical systems within small engines can be beneficial.

  • Must possess exceptional customer service organization time management and communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate; associate degree preferred

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience working with ISO standards

  • Familiarity with the basics of metrology
