Your Role Includes
- Reviewing and stamping mechanical projects of all complexities and sizes
- Directing design strategies and concepts on complex projects
- Leading audits feasibility assessments and investigations and writing corresponding reports
- Conducting site visits and troubleshooting construction issues; collaborating on solutions
- Mentoring intermediate and juniorlevel engineers and designers
- Supporting the continuous development of mechanical design standards and practices
What You will Bring to the Team
- Design experience with central plant systems including hot water steam and chilled water systems
- Significant exposure to DDC control systems including writing sequences of operations specifications and troubleshooting onsite control issues
- Extensive knowledge of codes and standards including OBC ASHRAE CSA and ASPE standards
- Design experience across multiple industries including commercial industrial educational multiunit residential healthcare and government
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to organize multitask and work well under deadlines
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share ideas with a track record of sound judgment and decisionmaking
- Professional engineering license in Ontario with at least 5 years of Canadian experience.
