Job Description

Position Description:

Defense Pricing Contracting and Acquisition Policy (DPCAP) falls under the purview of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment. The objective is to enable our client to effectively deliver goods and services that meet the needs of the customer while ensuring stewardship of taxpayer dollars. This includes overseeing and implementing business enterprise initiatives; formulating and overseeing complex organizational wide policies and strategies supporting the procurement of major programs; and providing innovative policy guidance and oversight.
The corresponding team consists of Business Analysts (BA) and Developers that support the client in creating Business Intelligence (BI) solutions such as dashboards tables analysis graphs reports and data exports that help empower DPCAP leadership and the DoD contracting community to obtain reliable data in a userfriendly selfservice environment.

This position is located in our Arlington VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Duties and expectations include but are not limited to the following:
Gather Requirements: Work with clients to obtain synthesize and understand report requirements.
Write and review documentation: Write Requirement Specification Documents (RSD) to provide to the Developers. Review other BAs RSDs and review Developerproduced documents to ensure they are Governmentready.
Collaboration with Developers: Communicate with and support the development team as they interpret the requirements into design documents and develop the reports in a testing environment.
Report Testing: Conduct functional testing of reports in staging and production environments to ensure that development efforts adhere to client vision meet the requirements and provide value to endusers.
Team Communication: Coordinate tasks with the internal BA team; provide regular status updates to the Government; serve as a liaison between the Government and Developers to ensure mutual understanding and facilitate forward progress.
Leadership Support: Document notes and action items from meetings and provide leadership deliverables as necessary. Follow up and track actions to closure.
Support nonreporting requirements: Write and maintain supplemental documents (e.g. user guides style guides and websites) and support other related tasks as they arise.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Clearance: Secret
Education: Bachelors Degree

2 years in a business analysis processes procedures functions or product management role.
Experience working in a multifunctional environment alongside developers database engineers designers and analysts.
Excellent communication skills especially with regards to making technical details accessible and transparent.
Ability to translate technical findings to Senior Leaders in a manner that is easily understandable to those less experienced with analytics.
Excellent attention to detail including documentation related concerns.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and drive to resolution engaging support as necessary.
Ability to prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to ask questions conduct research make decisions and complete assigned work with sometimes ambiguous requirements.
Experience working on DoD Contracts.
Desired qualifications/nonessential skills required:
Experience with Agile development Scrum is a plus
Experience with Qlik Sense DataBricks or the Advana platform is a plus
Experience with SQL is a plus
Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for meritbased performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50800.00 $108300.00.
