POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Analytics Intern supports CHSs mission by contributing to our transformation into a datainformed organization. This role is pivotal in harnessing data to drive strategic decisions enhance program delivery and optimize outcomes for the individuals and families we serve.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Data Analytics Intern will support CHS staff by completing the following duties:
- Data Visualization and Reporting:Assist in the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI ensuring data accuracy and usability.
- Data Management:Support the data warehousing process by organizing cleansing and structuring data for efficient analysis and retrieval.
- Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with program managers and other stakeholders to understand data needs and translate these into actionable insights.
- Technical Support:Respond to datarelated queries providing technical assistance to ensure effective utilization of analytics tools across the organization.
- Quality Assurance:Participate in data governance processes to maintain data quality integrity and security adhering to organizational and industry standards.

- Continuous Learning:Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with advances in data analytics and Microsoft applications.
- Positive Engagement:Foster a collaborative environment through positive interactions with coworkers administrative staff and other stakeholders.

- Technical Aptitude:Basic proficiency in Power BI for creating data visualizations and a fundamental understanding of data warehousing principles. Experience with Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Education:Currently enrolled in or completed coursework in Information Technology Data Analytics Statistics or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency:Basic understanding and experience with Power BI and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Software Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel Access SharePoint Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Licensing:Must provide proof of valid personal vehicle insurance and a valid drivers license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit or stand and use their hands to operate a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while using the computer.
