Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team in New York NY. As a Mental Health Therapist you will work with individuals families and groups to provide therapy and support for those struggling with mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to assess and address clients mental health needs
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients specific needs and goals
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists and social workers to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Maintain accurate and uptodate client records and progress notes
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance
Communicate effectively with clients families and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher
- LCSW LMFT or LMHC in NY
- 1year relevant experience
Preferred:
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- EvidenceBased Practice
- Telehealth
Strong knowledge of evidencebased therapy techniques and treatment modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to working with clients
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
