Job Title:Financial Analyst (Power Generation FBP)

**This position may be filled as a Financial Analyst II or III depending on the candidates background and experience**
**Preferred location for this role is The Woodlands TX; New Orleans LA may be considered. **
Job Summary/Purpose:
Support Entergys Finance organization by providing expert financial advice and information to Power Generation plants to support timely decision making. Provide analytical support assisting with the plants financial forecast reporting and controls as well as highlighting key issues and identifying items that may impact profitability.

Minimum education and experience required of the position:
Financial Analyst II: Bachelors Degree inMathematics Economics Finance Accounting a relevant field and 2 years of business experience in banking finance or project development is required or in lieu of a degree 6 years of business experience in banking finance or project development is required
Financial Analyst III: Bachelors Degree inMathematics Economics Finance Accounting a relevant field and 4 years of business experience in banking finance or project development is required or in lieu of a degree 8 years of business experience in banking finance or project development is required
MBA is a plus
Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required of the position:
Proficient knowledge of MS Office Word PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge and experience in working with Financial Reporting Software. Experience using Power Bi or similar visualization tools is a plus. Ability to work with minimal supervision or within a team environment. Ability to analyze problems and create solutions. Knowledge of financial theory and valuation. Ability to understand and solve complex financial transactions. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple time sensitive projects effectively. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
