Job Description
Title:
Cloud Computing LeadSummary:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Lead to join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) under the Liquid to Chemicals (LTC) Program Development.
PMO is responsible for overseeing and supporting all LTC program projects with the objective to ensure meeting mandates milestones and deliverables to meet the task objectives accordingly. In addition oversee the implementation of project governance and its alignment with all stakeholders.
This role is crucial for the successful deployment and ongoing operation of our cloud infrastructure. Working closely with the Cloud Computing Architect you will lead the practical of the cloud strategy ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
This role will focus also on leading the deployment team managing vendor interactions and ensuring a secure scalable and efficient cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Oversee the detailed of cloud deployment plans based on the architectural design including public private hybrid and multicloud models.
- Manage the operational aspects of the cloud environment ensuring high availability performance and reliability.
- Supervise the implementation of cloud pilot programs and the full rollout of cloud applications.
- Coordinate the integration and deployment of cloud applications with both internal teams and external CSPs.
- Developing technical selection criteria for assessing candidate IK CSPs.
- Conducting market survey and shortlist candidate IKCSPs to host Platform ecosystem.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor interactions related to cloud deployment and operations.
- Coordinate with program stakeholders including cybersecurity network and digital applications teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Coordinate with the awarded IK CSP to implement the cybersecurity assessment.
- Ensure the consistent application of cloud governance policies and procedures during deployment and operations.
- Implement and enforce access controls security measures and business continuity plans.
- Monitor and manage cloud costs data management and compliance.
- Implement and manage cloud monitoring tools to track performance availability and security.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and operational issues.
- Ensure effective incident management and problem resolution.
- Oversee the implementation of data exchange and communication mechanisms between cloud platforms.
- Manage the deployment of APIs cloud connectors and integration platforms.
- Ensure data integrity and seamless data flow across the multicloud environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cloud deployment and operational procedures.
- Provide regular reports on cloud performance security and operational status.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering Information Technology (IT). Digital Transformation (DT) or a related field.
- Certifications: Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect etc. are highly preferred.
- 12 years of experience out of which 10 years of experience in IT/DT/OT infrastructure strategies and cloud engineering with a strong focus on Hyperscalers multicloud environments.
- Proven experience in leading the deployment of cloud digital platforms on multiple cloud technologies (AWS Azure GCP OCI).
- Demonstrated experience in the practical application of virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud integration tools techniques and platforms.
- Familiarity with data architecture concept is required.
