The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Technical and Experienced Pig Farmer to join our innovative and fastpaced team. This is more than a standard farming role its ideal for someone who thrives in a handson environment and is confident working with precision livestock farming technologies datadriven systems and advanced herd management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily care of pigs across all production phases breeding farrowing nursery and finishing
• Monitoring and managing pig health and welfare in line with industry standards
• Operating and maintaining automated feeding and ventilation systems
• Recording and analysing production data via farm management software (e.g. PigCHAMP PigVision)
• Supervising AI farrowing weaning and vaccination programs
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff
• Collaborating with nutritionists vets and consultants to improve herd performance
• Contributing to biosecurity environmental controls and farm maintenance

What Youll Bring

• 5 years experience in commercial pig farming (mediumtolarge scale preferred)
• Certificate IV or higher in Agriculture Animal Science or similar
• Strong understanding of swine production reproductive cycles and nutrition
• Experience with ESF systems RFID environmental controls or other agtech tools
• Solid knowledge of animal welfare biosecurity and regulatory compliance
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Physically fit and handson attitude

Our farms are located in regional Western Australia with specific locations discussed at the interview stage. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
