Job Description
Are you a dynamic Production Supervisor with solid metal fabrication experience who wants to play a major role in the growth of our clients company If so this opportunity is perfect for you!
About the Role:
As Production Supervisor reporting to the General Manager you will oversee all manufacturing operations in a oneshift manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate tasks while addressing quality issues
- Ensure employees follow all appropriate safety procedures
- Create and maintain production schedules
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Drive continuous process improvement to increase safety quality and operations performance through implementation of Lean Principles
- Manage operations supervisors to ensure KPI metric boards are maintained.
- Responsible for coaching and development of the operations leadership team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in Production Supervisor/Team Lead role
- Metal fabrication manufacturing experience a must. Experience with the following equipment: welding laser cutting and punch presses.
- Some experience with low volume/madetoorder production preferred
- Strong decisionmaking skills
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Proficient using MS software
- Experience with ERP software
- Strong oral and written communication skills
