Boeing India Engineering has an immediate opening for Associate System Reliability and Maintainability Engineer position in the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team. As a member of this SEIT team Systems Safety engineer ensures compliance with required regulations procedures and policies with primary focus on aviation. Systems reliability and maintainability (R&M) engineers performs various activities related to regulations and standards concerning aviation safety including 1 the airworthiness of aircraft and aircraft systems and 2 safety aspects of aviation facilities equipment and procedures.
This position will be located in the Bangalore India.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform System analyses activities for safety reliability maintainability testability regulatory and certification.
Perform reliability analyses including mission reliability requirements/performance parameters mean time between failure schedule reliability guarantees and warranties system/subsystem block diagramming function flows predictions allocations redundancy modeling verification/validation reliability planning Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and reliability testing/growth.
Perform statistical analysis (Markov and Weibull) based upon sound knowledge of normal distribution standard deviations mean probability and confidence levels.
Perform maintainability and availability analyses including maintenance task time estimation timeline analysis maintainability prediction and allocations maintenance and servicing procedures fault detection/fault isolation accessibility tools and ground support/test equipment requirements identification.
Understand and apply R&M engineering processes procedures and instructions
Perform necessary hazard analyses to identify potentially hazardous conditions and recommend actions that would contribute to the minimization or prevention of hazards.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum graduate qualification in Engineering or equivalent
Bachelors Engineering degree Preferably Electronics/Aeronautical/Electrical / Systems Engineering with 57 years / Masters degree with 35 years of related work experience.
Experience in systems safety analysis as per ARP 4761.
Experience in ARP4754A guideline for aircraft/systems development processes.
Domain knowledge of propulsion systems and installation fuel systems APU systems and installations Avionics system Flight Control and engine controls are preferred.
Knowledge pf Design for R&M Inservice R&M analysis Root cause analysis.
Knowledge of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) processes and modeling aircraftlevel Failure Mode Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
Knowledge of maintenance plan and concept development condition monitoring repair schemes preventive/scheduled maintenance inspections.
Experience in safety analysis such as FMEA FTA and Reliability Tools (CAFTA) is preferred.
Experience in systems engineering and development process.
Experience in safety requirements development verification and validation.
Experience in technical coaching and mentoring of mid and early career engineer
Good understanding of systems architecture.
Selfmotivated Good problemsolving skills.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Engineering Degree and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 4 years related work experience.
