Job Description
This is a Full Time Position
The hours are Monday Friday from 8am 3:30pm

Full time hours are typically 35 to 37 hours/week. All employees are eligible for benefits at 30 hours/week.
A typical day for a Teachers Assistant will include:
- Working as a team with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe healthy structured welcoming space to grow and learn.
- Singing dancing playing teaching!
- Inspiring children to be lifelong learners.
- Partnering with families to nurture and care for their children.
- Showcasing your tech savvy skills by using an electronic daily tracking app.
- Assisting with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives.
A typical day for a Food Service Worker will include:
Order inventory food stock and supplies for meals
Prepare meals and snacks on a daily basis
Comply with safe food handling guidelines
Assist in the creation of a safe healthy structured and nurturing environment
Communicate positively with parents
Attend meetings and trainings
Assist with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives
Other duties may be assigned as necessary

We have full time positions or part time positions (with flexible schedules available).
Our learning centers are open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m. Monday Friday. We have locations across Rhode Island.
We are willing to train the right person! Our ideal candidate will have 13 years of experience working with children. We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
- A personal demeanor that is warm and friendly.
- Verbal and written communication skills including grammar and reading skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Organized and able to prioritize and multitask.
- Teamoriented and willing to work with others.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher.
- Safe Serve Certification (state licensed) preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Able to engage in physical exercise with children (walking running crawling bending twisting).
- Visual and hearing acuity.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Other Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older (Teen Aide positions are available for applicants 1618 years of age).
- Able to read write speak and understand English bilingual encouraged to apply.
- Must pass national criminal background/fingerprints check.
- Must pass Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF) Clearance Request (CPS).
