Job Description

We are looking for a fulltime Emergency Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join us on a fixed term basis for nine months at Te Kauwhata Ambulance Station. This follows a DDNN 4 x 4 roster.
In this role you will:
- Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
- Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks.
Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at First Responder or EMT
- Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
- The ability to work under pressure as part of a team
- Evidence of CCE
- New Zealand citizenship permanent residency or work visa
