Deputy Nurse Manager

30 hours per week
Hourly Rate: 22.40

Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Nurse Manager to join their team. This specialist service provides highquality residential and nursing care to older adults as well as support for younger adults with complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident nurse leader who is passionate about inclusive personcentred care and ready to take the next step in their nursing career.

Working closely with the Home Manager the Deputy Nurse Manager will take on a vital leadership rolesupporting clinical practice guiding a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the delivery of safe dignified and highquality care.

The successful candidate will lead by example inspire confidence in the team and help maintain a warm supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Skills & Qualifications

  • NMCregistered Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decisionmaking skills
  • Confident in managing care plans staff supervision and medication protocols
  • Familiarity with current regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLS
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daytoday running of the service alongside the Home Manager
  • Support mentor and lead a team of nurses and care staff
  • Oversee care plans and medication management
  • Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Promote a culture of compassion dignity and respect
  • Contribute to audits quality monitoring and service improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with residents families and healthcare professionals
