Job Description

Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the maintenance team by establishing floor priorities setting clear expectations ensuring accountability and facilitating internal training initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain skill and training matrices to support workforce development.

  • Track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to team members regularly throughout the year.

  • Design and implement maintenance programs with a strong focus on planning scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance aligned with strategic objectives.

  • Maintain and improve maintenance procedures databases and systems to enhance process efficiency.

  • Manage the maintenance department budget monitor expenditures and ensure operations remain cost-effective.

  • Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.

  • Oversee equipment-related projects coordinate with contractors manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.

  • Monitor the reliability and performance of plant equipment and systems reduce unplanned downtime and identify continuous improvement opportunities in line with health safety and environmental requirements.

  • Troubleshoot machinery materials molds and processes as needed.

  • Collaborate with engineering to create and maintain accurate technical equipment specifications.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 7 years in a relevant technical role (engineering or maintenance) with at least 5 years leading maintenance teams in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

  • Strong leadership capabilities including experience managing and developing teams coaching training and performance planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed maintenance KPIs and apply data-driven decision-making.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Working knowledge of electrical hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and automation systems.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage maintenance budgets effectively.

  • Strong organizational time management and prioritization skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
