Responsibilities:
Lead and direct the maintenance team by establishing floor priorities setting clear expectations ensuring accountability and facilitating internal training initiatives.
Develop and maintain skill and training matrices to support workforce development.
Track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to team members regularly throughout the year.
Design and implement maintenance programs with a strong focus on planning scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance aligned with strategic objectives.
Maintain and improve maintenance procedures databases and systems to enhance process efficiency.
Manage the maintenance department budget monitor expenditures and ensure operations remain cost-effective.
Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
Oversee equipment-related projects coordinate with contractors manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
Monitor the reliability and performance of plant equipment and systems reduce unplanned downtime and identify continuous improvement opportunities in line with health safety and environmental requirements.
Troubleshoot machinery materials molds and processes as needed.
Collaborate with engineering to create and maintain accurate technical equipment specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 7 years in a relevant technical role (engineering or maintenance) with at least 5 years leading maintenance teams in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership capabilities including experience managing and developing teams coaching training and performance planning.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed maintenance KPIs and apply data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and a continuous improvement mindset.
Working knowledge of electrical hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and automation systems.
Proven ability to develop and manage maintenance budgets effectively.
Strong organizational time management and prioritization skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
