THE ROLE
Were looking for an experienced and driven accounting leader to take charge of all core functionsGL AP/AR payroll and monthly closewhile ensuring GAAPcompliant financials and leading audits and tax filings. As the Director of a growing accounting team youll implement scalable policies partner with crossfunctional teams and support strategic initiatives. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Own and drive all core accounting functions including GL AP/AR payroll and monthly close.
Oversee and maintain GAAPcompliant financial statements and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and quarterly closes.
Oversee technical accounting and treasury management.
Lead external audits tax preparation and compliance filings.
Develop and implement scalable accounting policies procedures and internal controls as the company grows.
Partner crossfunctionally (especially with Finance Legal HR and Product teams) to support strategic initiatives and reporting needs.
Lead and grow a small but mighty accounting team with the ability to scale the function over time.
WHAT SKILLS YOULL NEED
8 years of progressive accounting experience including time in a leadership role at a highgrowth tech or SaaS company.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP especially in SaaSrelated topics like:
Revenue recognition (ASC 606
Capitalized commissions
Capitalized software development
Stockbased compensation
CPA is required; Big 4 or national firm experience is a plus.
Experience with accounting systems like NetSuite QuickBooks Xero or similar; experience implementing/upgrading ERP systems is a bonus.
Experience with platforms like Shopify and Chargebee is a plus.

Experience at a Shopify technology partner company
Experience with ecommerce solutions
SALARY RANGE: $180000$195000
This position is not eligible for visa transfer or sponsorship.
