Job Description:We are seeking dedicated andexperienced lecturers in Arithmetic and Statistics to join our esteemed facultyteam. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in their respectivefields with a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a stimulatinglearning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery:Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures and practical sessions in Arithmetic and Statistics ensuring alignment with the colleges academic standards.
- Lesson Planning:Create detailed lesson plans and course materials that facilitate effective learning and understanding.
- Student Assessment:Evaluate student performance through assignments exams and projects providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Research and Development:Engage in academic research to stay current with advancements in the field and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices.
- Mentorship:Provide academic guidance and support to students assisting them in their educational and career pursuits.
- Professional Development:Participate in continuous professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:Msc (Stats) M (Maths)
- Experience:2 to 4 years of teaching experience in a higher education setting preferably at a degree college.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Arithmetic or Statistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Screening Process:
- Written Test:A subjectspecific exam to assess proficiency in Arithmetic or Statistics.
- Proficiency Test:Evaluation of skills in MS Office and other relevant tools.
- Interview:An interview to assess teaching philosophy experience and fit with the colleges values.
- Teaching Demonstration:A mock class session to demonstrate teaching abilities and subject knowledge.
