This position is an onsite Centralized Field Engineering (CFE) Principal Specialist role supporting Advanced Sensor Programs (ASP) performing duties as part of a Field Team that interfaces with sensor users to provide longterm technical field support for complex electronic and electromechanical radar systems. The home location is Dallas Texas.

The ASP Field Operations program is an energetic multidisciplinary team of over 50 field support technicians working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide and support cuttingedge airborne radar systems capabilities to our nations warfighters around the world and around the clock. This team is positioned at the tip of the spear alongside the customer providing direct support to ensure the warfighter has the most capable systems on the front line to meet the challenges our nation faces.

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in the development maintenance and sustainment of the sensor system.
  • Conduct daily reviews with customers.
  • Perform administrative tasks essential for system maintenance including planning coordination task monitoring shipping receiving packaging and inventory management.
  • Utilize knowledge gained from and through field experiences to provide onsite technical support and assistance directly to customers when required.
  • Communicate technical information effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Collaborate with offsite engineering teams to troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs.
  • Lift bend and move within a normal range of motion to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Routine lifting and maneuvering of items weighing over 40 lbs.
  • Travel:
    • OCONUS travel: Two 2 75day deployments per year.
    • CONUS travel: Up to 40 days per year.

What You Will Learn:

  • How to support and maintain cuttingedge technology in the field.
  • How to support a highly mobile customer in very dynamic environments.
  • How to manage and prioritize multiple requirements from different organizations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance with a current Tier 5 (T5 investigationis required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience in repair and maintenance of complex military electromechanical systems.
  • Experience in system integration logistics processes and logistics procedures.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA).
  • Experience with airborne radar systems.
  • Proficiency in navigating and executing commands within a UNIX environment and interpreting maintenancerelated results.
  • Strong technical writing oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in challenging environmental conditions.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual shortterm and/or longterm incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collectivebargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
