Job Description:
What will you work on
As a Social Media Marketing intern youwill be responsible for assisting in the creation & management of social media content across Melissa & Doug channels. You will get exposure to many aspects of our Digital & Social Marketing plans including content ideation content creation planning & reporting. Detailed responsibilities may include:
How will you create impact
- Assist with the planning and of social media campaigns aligned to marketing initiatives
- Collaborate on briefing internal creative team or external content creators to bring social campaigns and concepts to life
- Assist on influencer and/or PR campaign strategy
- Help manage monthly content calendars and scheduling/publishing content
- Track social media performance to identify highperforming ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Perform social media listening identifying trends & actionable insights
- Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
- Help create & manage consumer engagement events at our local retail store at the Westchester Mall
- Capture content at retail store to leverage for social media
- Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
- Ensure content & creative delivers against brand equity & priorities
- Hybrid role out of Wilton CT headquarters with ability to travel Westchester Mall as needed
Through your time at Melissa & Doug you will get exposed to many aspects of Marketing while also getting the opportunity to collaborate crossfunctionally with many departments across the organization to bring to life your project deliverables.
What are your skills and experience
- Must be a rising College Junior or Senior
- Minimum GPA > 3.0
- Major area of study in line with role
- The program will run from May 27th August 8th
