This position may be eligible for partial teleworkwithin the state of conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory 2.5 an hour base pay increase effective July 1 2025.

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Senior & Long Term Care Fiscal Services.
This position is with the Senior & LongTerm Care Division (SLTC). The principal function of this position is to provide direction for financial budget and accounting responsibilities within the SLTC of the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). This position is responsible for overseeing the budget for the division and ensuring that the divisions expenditures are consistent with federal and state law legislative appropriations and legislative intent. The position ensures state compliance with complex federal regulations and established goals objectives and priorities for division activity. A major responsibility is to synthesize diverse and often conflicting information from multiple often unrelated sources; make a determination regarding data validity and relevance; develop creative and comprehensive solutions.
Financial responsibilities include providing support to division staff for grant solicitation grant management contract and procurement activities as well as assuring program staff have an appropriate working knowledge of the state budget and accounting processes and expenditure control to contribute to successful program and budget management.
