The position / About the Job:
In this job the Automation engineer would be responsible for:
- Plan & schedule the project Plant /module Control system related activities.
- Responsible for PLC SCADA/HMI software design development and commissioning.
- Worked on software such as Siemens TIA portal / Rockwell Factory talk.
- Good Knowledge of ISA S88 document preparation and software development.
- Good Knowledge of either Siemens Automation product / Rockwell automation product.
- Carry out automation engineering which include specification of complete control systems software specification of industrial automation PLC SCADA and HMI necessary technical documentation Functional Design Specification O&M manuals and FAT of the control panel.
- Specification of RFQ for automation (PLC and HMI) based on input from Process and Electrical engineer.
- Support startup commissioning and troubleshooting either at site or remotely.
- Responsible for handling of several small to midsize software projects at the same time in accordance with time schedule and budget established by the project PM.
- Review of vendors Control system proposal technical bid evaluation
- Participate in Vendor software testing such as Software FAT SAT
- Understanding & assistance in design site support and development for following areas:
Control room layout
PLC Panel GA wiring BOM drawing
Panel testing Remote commissioning
- PLCKnowledge such as hardware type of PLC I/O cards HMI
- Participate in proposal procurement and sales work as & when required
- Ensure final Project software backup version control.
- Attend site meetings with customer consultants and external suppliers
Who you are
Knowledge / Qualification :
- B.E/ BTech. Electrical Engineering /Instrumentation/Electronics
Skills:
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience in PLC and SCADA software development
- 512 years experience with engineering and commissioning
- Software such as Siemens TIA or Rockwell Factory Talk
- Good knowledge and experience with project work.
- Crosscultural awareness.
Attitude:
- Structured and systematic approach.
- Orientation on high quality and standards of work results.
- Team player with good communication and negotiation skills.
- Eager to share knowledge and experience with others.
- Customerorientation and effective in cooperation.
- Selfdriven and responsible also for others.
