Position Summary:
As Product Manager (Lending Products) at Haventree Bank you will be at the forefront of transforming our lending products for broker and client engagement focusing on optimizing endtoend journey (ecosystem). You will play a pivotal role in identifying growth opportunities within our mortgage product portfolio while increasing operational efficiency. This ideal candidate will possess lending product management background strong technical acumen and a track record of launching complex scalable products.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
This position will influence and contribute to Haventree Banks strategic plan that supports the organizations growth and profitability.
Product Strategy & Development
- Support the development of product strategy and roadmap for our mortgage lending portfolio
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
- Ensure alignment of product and business loyalty offerings with the banks strategic objectives
Product Development & Innovation
- Support the full endtoend product lifecycle from concept to launch including ideation development testing and iteration
- Identity and execute on opportunities to modernize our loan origination and retention product ecosystem including our Loan Origination System broker portal and loyalty systems for enhanced user experience and higher operational efficiency
- Lead the charge on internal and market research business case development and build vs buy decisions business requirements development as well contributing with engineering team on prioritizing product backlog and testing
- Collaborate with crossfunctional team (e.g. Engineering Risk Operations Compliance and Vendors) to deliver an integrated seamless and efficient lending product experience that differentiates our offerings in the market
- Ensure product compliance with applicable regulations
Product Management
- Deliver actionable business intelligence to support strategic decision and business management including defining KPIs reporting on product performance to senior leadership and analyzing key performance drivers
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and product launch plans
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve product features and user experience increase operational efficiency and optimize profitability
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed to drive strategic growth of the organization while effectively mitigating risk
Stakeholder Management
- Lead the discussions and facilitate requirements gathering with senior leadership to optimize endtoend lending journey while crafting compelling business cases to support strategy initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Operations Compliance Legal Sales Marketing) to drive successful product development and portfolio growth
- Engage with external partners and vendors to integrate cuttingedge technologies and solutions into our mortgage products
Qualifications & Experience
Degrees Diplomas & Certifications:
- Bachelor (or higher) degree in Business Finance Computer Science or related field
Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:
- 5 years of experience in product management
- Exposure to developing and launching scalable financial or digital products
- Strong technical background with ability to produce detailedoriented requirements contribute on technical concept discussions architecture and APIs that enable the team to ship high quality features
- Good understanding of mortgage lending systems and processes lending products and regulatory requirements is a definite plus
- Excellent data analytics and strategic thinking abilities with a focus on datadriven decisionmaking; proficiency in Excel SQL knowledge is an asset
- Experience in writing business requirement user stories and testing; advanced in Miro Confluence Jira is a plus
- Clientfirst obsession dedication and a get it done attitude is mandatory
- Able to think laterally and find innovative solutions to support strategy
- Problem solvers with strong product intuition and ability to find solutions to complex business problems
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills ability to present sophisticated business and technical concepts to a broad range of technical and nontechnical staff tailoring messages and stories to the appropriate audience
- Able to influence and collaborate with partners with diverse points of view build consensus at different levels in the organisation as well as to establish credibility with a broad set of partners
- Strong interpersonal abilities excellent teammate selfdirected and resourceful
- Comfortable working in dynamic environment with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities
