Responsible for the calibration ofinstrumentation loops controllers recorders transmitters balances andother devices used in pharmaceutical production. Parameters include but arenot limited to temperature pressure weight force and humidity.

Usual activities
- Perform corrective actions on electrical andelectronic systems in formulation equipment (Tablet Compressor coating MillsBlender Weighing Fluid bed).
- Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance onequipment in the assigned areas including Inspections Calibrations andscheduled overhauls.
- Use analytical troubleshooting skills torecognize equipment problems identify root causes and recommend/ implementsolutions that prevent problem reoccurrence.
- Perform mechanical and electrical equipmentrepairs in the assigned area including routine adjustments and fabrication.
- Work with Supervisors Operators Engineers andother Mechanics to identify and implement opportunities to improveequipment/production efficiencies.
- Participate in crossfunctional teams asassigned to support continuous improvement or equipmentinstallation/modification
- Perform and document work in compliance withSOPs Safety Health & Environment (SHE) standards and Good ManufacturingPractices (GMPs); to include work orders PMs logbooks and permits
- Respond to multiple equipment/productionproblems and prioritize or change assignments as needed to meet formulationdemands
- Must be able to work as needed during othershifts and weekends when production and/or equipment maintenance coverage isneeded
- Participate in deviation investigations and helpdrive to root cause using tools such as 5Why.

Requirements
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D. or
an Associates Degree inEngineeringTechnology ora technical discipline - Minimum of three 3)years of maintenance experience in troubleshooting installation and repair ofelectrical/electronic system.
- Good interpersonal communication and writingskills
- Understanding and operational familiarity withPC/PLC control systems.
- Thorough familiarity with the analysis andrepair of electrical/electronic control systems.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Understanding of concepts used in control systemdesign and elementary programming is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in all the followingareas and certification/advanced training in at least 2 of the following:
- Mechanical maintenance
- Electrical Maintenance
- Instrumentation and Controls
