Job Summary
Instruct students in both theoretical and practical aspects of sterile processing including decontamination sterilization storage and distribution of medical instruments and supplies.
Ensure that the curriculum meets all industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate student performance through assessments exams and handson practice.
Provide mentorship and support to students fostering a positive and effective learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress attendance and academic performance.
Stay current with industry trends advancements and best practices.
Collaborate with other faculty and staff to ensure program quality and student success.
Must maintain an active advisory committee and communicate with business and industry on a regular basis.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Certification in Central Sterile Processing (CRCST or CSPDT) is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Central Sterile Processing or a related field.
Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
Commitment to student success and academic excellence
