MLOps Engineer

Position Description:

Join CGIs team as we support a major banking client in developing and implementing data systems. You will play a key role in deploying an Enterprise Feature Store leveraging emerging technologies and scalable infrastructure to deliver impactful results for our financial services client.

This role can be filled from the following locations: Cleveland OH Dallas TX Pittsburgh PA. Client Preference is Cleveland OH or Pittsburgh PA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Platform Architecture & Implementation: Deploy data infrastructure to support ML workflows in both cloud and onpremises environments.
System Integration: Connect storage processing and feature management systems to ensure smooth data flow.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists ML engineers and business teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Data Governance & Security: Apply industrystandard practices to ensure the quality privacy and regulatory compliance of financial data.
Pipeline Optimization: Optimize existing data pipelines from a platform perspective to improve ML workflow performance.
Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to address complex engineering challenges

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Advanced Python programming skills
Proven experience implementing machine learning data workflows
Proficiency with data technologies including Hadoop Spark and Kafka
Strong programming background in Java Scala and SQL
Experience implementing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Handson experience with data engineering in a Cloudera CDP (Cloudera Data Platform) environment.
Experience with Spark Structured Streaming for nearrealtime data processing
Docker and Kubernetes containerization expertise
Experience with Hopsworks Feature Store implementation
Handson experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure)
Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g. Kubeflow MLflow etc.
Familiarity with model versioning continuous integration and deployment in machine
learning pipeline.
Knowledge of data model management and automated testing in machine learning
environments
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for meritbased performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 61900 $137100.
