The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and detailoriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This entrylevel position will be responsible for providing clinical assistance to our physicians and nurses in the medical office setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and check them in manage and update patient records and files schedule appointments and provide medical office administrative support.
- Assist in minor procedures take vital signs review medical history and prepare examination rooms prior to patient visits.
- Assist in minimally invasive therapies.
- Chronic care management.
- Answer phones respond to patient calls and emails and direct patients to appropriate resources.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates degree in medical assisting from an accredited school.
- At least three years of medical office experience.
- Current CPR certification and medical terminology knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
NicetoHaves:
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records systems.
- Indepth knowledge of medical coding.
- Current License from State Board of Clinical Laboratory Science.
- Experience in a fastpaced medical office.
- Bilingual English and Spanish.
