Job Description
Open Position: Database Administrator
Location: Malad (West) Mumbai
Experience: 2 to 4 Years
Qualification: Graduate

Only Mumbai Suburban based location (Dahisar to Dadar) Candidates apply for the Position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop optimize and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction transformation and reporting.
- Design and implement database structures tables indexes and views to support application requirements.
- Collaborate with software developers and data analysts to understand data needs and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency.
- Manage and monitor database backups restores and disaster recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues promptly ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement and enforce database security best practices including access control and data encryption.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries ER diagrams and user guides.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in database development and administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SQL Developer with 3 to 5 years of handson database development using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Solid understanding of database design principles normalization and data modeling.
- Experience with performance tuning indexing strategies and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and tools.
- Proficiency in using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and other database tools.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and data protection methods.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Microsoft SQL Server certification (e.g. MCSA: SQL Database Development).
- Experience with other database systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
