This position under general direction from the Social Services Administrator 3 supervises coaches counsels mentors directs trains and completes performance evaluation and disciplinary actions for a unit of Benefits and Eligibility Specialist Advanced (Quality Control Reviewers) in the Office of Program Evaluation (OPE).
This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan organize and supervises the activities of a QC unite engaged in the evaluation investigation analysis determination and assurance of the quality of work in the NA program regarding the accuracy of eligibility payment and issuance.
Responsible for the accuracy thoroughness and timeliness of work assigned of the PSQE staff to validate compliance with agency requirement and to ensure the intent of federal and state laws relevant to the SNAP requirements are met.
Evaluating the quality of work through a case read process and monthly conferences prepares evaluations determine training needs develops and prepares training materials coordinates and presents training when necessary implements corrective action plans as needed conducts error analysis through QC Peer Review process.
Develop and monitor reports to identify errors trends probable causes and performance progress.
Reads and interprets new revised or enhances federal and state policy or procedural changes policy clarifications corrective action plans analysis of policy systems and training related matters information exchange and collaborate partnerships through excellent customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinates/facilities and or actively participates representing OPE in policy review meetings QC Panel Review meetings QC/OPE Management meetings. Participates in FAA scheduled functions for the enlightenment of the QC review process.
Provides continual technical assistance to staff by researching State policy and procedures. Federal rules and regulations and an indepth knowledge and instruction of the use of QCs automated review system.
Knowledge of:
Extensive knowledge of Federal and State rules and regulations specifically those governing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Quality Control rules regulations and audit procedures for Nutrition Assistance outlined in the FSN 310 handbook.
Legislative process and practices.
Skills in:
Professional and effective communication skills (written and oral) and possess effective time management.
Ensure that assigned tasks are completed by the required deadlines.
Various computer programs such as GSuite (Gmail Sheets Docs etc. Quality Control automated review system QUEST.
Mentoring and training staff providing direction with complex policy mediate conflicts with workloads staffing issues procedures and resolving differences.
Ability to:
Provide direction motivation and mentoring mediate and resolve differences and formulate corrective action plans and apply interpretation of complicated state and federal rules and regulations.
Analyze and evaluate staff performances to ensure continuous accuracy and improvement.
Provide training and guidance to OPE and FAA staff.
Analyze and make recommendations to improve Arizonas accuracy rate. Evaluate existing work processes and formulate plans for improvement.
Prioritize plan organize coordinate a variety of activities that include meetings conferences and other related activities.
Establish and maintain effective work relationships with individuals groups different levels of management and representatives of other governmental entities.
Three 3 years of work experience in public assistance quality evaluation staff capacity
Two 2 years of work experience in a supervisory capacity
This position may require driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business then the following requirements apply: Drivers License Requirements.
