Brillio is laserfocused onturning technological disruptions into the advantagesthat our customers need to thrive in todays digital economy. We are looking for seasoned Database Engineer for our Azure Data Lake which is fuel to the Brillio Insights program.
Key Responsibilities
The Database Engineer is responsible for building implementing and supporting Microsoft BI solutions to meet client requirements.
Apply knowledge of technologies applications methodologies processes and tools to support a client project or entity.
Integrating transforming and consolidating data from various structured and unstructured data systems into structures that are suitable for building analytics solutions.
Translate functional design into technical solution
Design and create complex data conversion and ETL jobs
Conduct quality control on developments by peers
Prepare comprehensive technical documentations including specifications test conditions and error logs
Execute endtoend unit testing (Extraction transformation load)
Identify data quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement and resolution
Work with Functional and Development team to resolve issues
Execute data load and support data reconciliation in scope with data migration
Participate in integration testing and document conversion results
Participate in defect analysis and resolution
Technical Experience Requirements:
Understanding of database technologies like SQL ETL PLSQL TSQL or NoSQL
7 years relevant working experience preferably in a technical environment or in one of the following: Azure ETL Talend SAS MicroStrategy or DataStage.
Experience in at least one RDBMS
Exposure to visual analytics (Power BI)
Conversant with different methodologies like Agile & Waterfall
Educational Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or any related field
Key Personal Attributes
Good communication skills reasoning and analytical ability
Strong program and project management skills
Good at networking and influencing internal and project teams to get work done
