VACANT POST START DATE NEGOTIABLE
ROLE OF2 (Capt) Senior Company 2IC
This post could be an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a new role within the South West or an OF1 looking for a role to promote into. South West Officer Training Regiment is a new organisation that encompasses both Exeter and Bristol UOTCs.
- Assist Coy Comd in planning and executing RMAS CCS training programme.
- Deputise for OC as required.
- Support CoC in the production of all OSW
- Attend all Coy training and other unit activities (eg. Annual Dinner sports events etc) actively supporting the Regimental life of SWOTR.
- Supervise and support the management and planning of resources in conjunction with PSI and CQMS
- Oversee and manage on behalf of CoC all Reserve pers course applications (ALDP professionally qualifying upskilling and AT) and update all registers.
- Provide a Reserve Officer role model to which OCdts can aspire.
Any other tasks as delegated by OC.
Domestic Considerations:
44 RSDs p.a plus more where available. Some travel and overnight duty required along with 2 weeks ADX Jun/Jul. Training is mainly held during term time however there are other opportunities outside of these for other activities incl RAAT/AITC Taskings.
Bristol parade on a Tuesday at Whiteladies Road and if able to commit Exeter Training Nights are held at Wyvern Bks on Wednesdays. Training Weekends are mainly held across various locations across the South West.
DTTT ideally already qualified but can be done in post if required
RMAS Context Course can done in post
Care of Trainees can be done in post if not already qualified
RMQ
Any AT Qualifications
Previous experience in a training organisation would be highly desirable.
