Job Description
Clinical Educator BSN/RN Vocational Nursing Program
Join a leading healthcare education institution as a Clinical Educator where youll shape the next generation of nursing professionals. Were seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for education to provide comprehensive clinical instruction to our Vocational Nursing students. This role offers the perfect blend of clinical expertise and educational leadership.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical education programs providing handson instruction in patient care treatment planning and medical documentation
- Design and implement effective teaching strategies and evaluation methods in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Education
- Guide students in developing critical thinking skills and clinical competencies through structured feedback and mentorship
- Ensure compliance with BVNPT standards and regulations for clinical experiences
- Build and maintain relationships with clinical site partners while managing student placement requirements
- Facilitate orientation programs for new students and faculty members
- Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Current unencumbered California RN license
- Minimum 3 years of direct patient care experience within the past 5 years
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and patient care
- Strong leadership communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in healthcare documentation and electronic medical records
- Understanding of BVNPT regulations and educational standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous nursing education or clinical instruction experience
- Masters degree in Nursing Education or related field
- Experience with simulationbased learning
- Certification in specialty nursing area
