Purpose of Role:The role is responsible to ensure that strict quality compliance is maintained with the ultimate goal of Zerodefect components meeting the delivery targets.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to understand raw material
requirements inprocess quality requirements product test plans and requirements
- InProcess inspection of composites and metallic components including tooling.
- Generate and maintain Quality documents including QAPs Dimensional inspection reports
- log sheets and inprocess check lists NDT reports test reports etc.
- Raw materials fasteners and seals qualification and acceptance.
- Raise Maintain and follow up for closure of Nonconformance reports.
- Follow up and lessons learnt are to be documents towards continuous improvement for zero defects.
Skills required
Technical Skills
- Worked as QA/QC engineer in composite manufacturing process and assembly process of the composites structures.
- At least 3 years of experience with a minimum 1 years of Aerospace or Defence experience
- a quality engineering role
- Familiarity with NDT techniques such as UT RT CR and experience in interpreting Radiography films
- Knowledge on raw material testing standards such as ASTM/ISO for metallics and composites
- Familiarity with quality acceptance standards for aerospace grade fasteners & seals desirable
- Experience with Filament winding Tape winding Pre Preg handling Sandwich composites manufacturing desirable
- Handson experience in the interpretation of flaws in Composites and metallics desirable
QualificationEssential:
B. Tech in Mechanical engineering with min 3 years of experience in defence and aerospace assemblies.
