Job Description
The opportunity
Were looking for a skilled Scala developer with a strong background in distributed systems to join our team. Youll be working on the core backend of Unity/iAds adserving platform powering ads for millions of daily users.
In this role youll help improve our systems performance scalability and reliability. Youll work with cuttingedge technologies like Kafka Aerospike and Kubernetes contributing to a platform that drives a significant part of the companys revenue.
This is an exciting opportunity to deeply impact our business working within a team that sits at the heart of our backend systems.
What youll be doing
- Develop features in a highscale realtime environment.
- Work on critical projects at the core of our revenue stream.
- Propose and implement new ideas to enhance system functionality and performance.
- Help design and build robust and scalable solutions.
What were looking for
- Proven Experience: 5 years building largescale systems.
- Backend Development: 2 years with Scala Java or Go.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with Kafka in highperformance systems.
- Performance Focus: A strong understanding of scalability latency and throughput.
- Knowledge of functional programming is a plus.
