Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining and managing a cohesive medical team and facilitate good communication between patients nursing staff and physicians. Does this position require Patient Care Yes
Essential Functions: Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes.
Maintains staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
Accomplishes staff job results by coaching counseling and disciplining employees.
Plans monitors and appraises job results.
Implements and enforces systems policies and procedures.



Qualifications

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associates Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care Experience 35 years required and Supervisory/Leadership Experience 23 years preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
A demonstrated ability to provide consistent quality patient care with a keen eye for detail organizational skills and effective time management.
Experience instructing clinical support employees on proper treatment procedures.
A positive attitude and a propensity for leadership and teambuilding.
Ability to problemsolve under pressure.
