As an Assoc DirectorNetwork Services you will be responsible for directing planning and apportioning the work of employees including interviewing selecting and training recommending the setting and adjusting of rates of pay and hours of work and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policy.

Supervise Managers Network Technicians and Administrative Staff providing products and services to both internal and external customers. Responsibility for the provisioning dispatching testing installation and outside plant protection for mobility wireless/WiFi and wireline switch/transport/cell site and/or installation and maintenance provisioning coordination with Centers responsible for dispatching and testing cable maintenance dispatch and testing activities at the customer site or a company location for Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) VOIP (Voice over IP) Video Wireless Uverse Specials Services Designed Services Data Services or related power equipment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coach and manage employee performance and behavior develop the training strategy monitor costs to meet financial goals and ensure all personnel are handled in accordance with company guidelines

  • Required to interface with customers through facetoface and/or telephone interactions

  • Duties include interviewing/hire/fire along with submitting performance appraisal for supervisors over an assigned territory

  • Monitors costs and workload

  • Administers and oversees company safety practices and vehicle and tool inventory

  • Required to establish implement and monitor adherence to methods process and procedures including managing employee attendance

  • Oversee activities and scheduling of frontline and coordinates with other departments to ensure that schedules are arranged to meet company/customer appointments/commitments.

  • Ensures that all functions are performed correctly and in a timely fashion to meet/exceed customer expectations and company standards/specifications

  • Responsible for ensuring Efficiency/Productivity and Utilization targets are met and may be responsible for the of plans targeted at delivery of specific service and cost results as typically tracked through a scorecard

  • Responsible for maintaining service levels by providing inside and/or outside support for operations processes which support field operations

  • Responsible for handling customer escalation for 24hour customer answer points

  • Responsible for training evaluating and managing performance evaluations of direct reports. Influences decisions regarding the hiring firing disciplinary action promotional activity and pay decisions for subordinates

Required Experience:

  • 5 years of network related technical experience some of which was in a supervisory role

Desired Education:

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent related network experience; Technical degree preferred

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include but is not limited to work related to fuel tanks emergency and standby generators boilers hazardous waste hazardous materials batteries manholes and vaults water wells linear and other construction projects water discharge or air emissions.
